Pondering thus and living*[1]
(unattached) in his house like a stranger and having no sense of 'V and "mine" (with regard to the body and those connected with it), he does not get bound by his household but remains free (from all bondage). Worshipping Me alone through his household duties, a devotee may stay in his house (continue to be a householder) or retire into the forest (enter the order of an anchorite) or renounce the world and go about as a mendicant recluse if he has a male issue.
