जो पुरुष आकांक्षा से रहित, बाहर-भीतर से शुद्ध, चतुर, पक्षपात से रहित और दु:खों से छूटा हुआ है- वह सब आरम्भों का त्यागी मेरा भक्त मुझको प्रिय है ।।16।।

He who wants nothing, who is both internally and externally pure, is clever and impartial, and has risen above all distractions, and who renounces the feeling of doeship in all undertaking,-that devotee of mine is dear. (16)
