Chapter-18 Mokṣa Sannyāsa Yogaḥ

yad ahaṅkāram āśritya na yotsya iti manyase | mithyaiṣa vyavasāyaste prakṛtis-tvāṃ niyokṣyati || 59 || 59. If out of self-conceit, you think; 'I will not fight,' your resolve is futile — Nature will compel you. Commentary 'self-conceit’ means under a false sense of independence, and thinking that you know what is good for you and what is not.
