Chapter-16 Daivāsura Sampad Vibhāga Yogaḥ
yaḥ śāstra vidhim utsṛjya vartate kāma kārataḥ | CommentaryOne who rejects the injunctions given in the Vedas and follows the direction of one's own wishes, does not achieve any form of perfection relating to the hereafter, nor finds the slightest happiness in this world, nor the attainment of the Supreme State. If there is no striving for perfection or happiness how can one expect the Supreme State? — such is the meaning. |
