Chapter-18 Mokṣa Sannyāsa Yogaḥ

asakta buddhiḥ sarvatra jitātmā vigata spṛhaḥ |
naiṣkarmya siddhiṃ paramāṃ sanyāsenādhigacchati || 49 ||

49. One who is completely unattached, who is self-controlled and is free from desires — attains
by renunciation the supreme perfection of liberation from all activity.

Commentary

The gist is that one attains steadfastness in mindfulness (Dhyāna Yoga) which is the consummation of even Jñāna Yoga. Dhyāna Yoga which is going to be described hereafter consists in the complete cessation of sensory activity.
