If, on account of such apprehension, one decides that the practice of meditation alone should be adopted for perfection in Yoga, and abandons rites like the Five Great Sacrifices — such renunciation is made in the Mode of Passion. Since this is not in accordance with the design of the Scriptures. In fact, works themselves do not directly purify the mind but only indirectly through channeling the grace of God. |
