The Resplendent Lord said: The wise ones declare that relinquishment is giving up of performance of action prompted by desire and renunciation is abandonment of all the fruits of action by those given to wisdom.
Bhashya :- Nonperformance of actions which promotes even little desire for fruits is relinquishment. Sanyaas, renunciation is giving up the fruits of actions. “Both non-performance of action which promotes desire and giving up the fruits of desire is relinquishment”, thus in Prachinshala text.
