Purodhasām ca mukhyam mām viddhi Pārtha Brhaspatim
Senāninām-aham Skandah sarasām-asmi sāgarah

24. And of the priests, 0 Pārtha, know Me to be the chief one, Brhaspati; of generals, I am Skanda; of bodies of water, Ī am the ocean.

And of the priests of kings, O PSrtha, know Me to be the chief one, Brhaspati: he is verily the chief priest, because he is the house­ hold priest of indra; of generals, commanders of armies, I am Skanda, the general of the gods; of bodies of water, the natural reservoirs of water, I am the ocean.
