28. But, those men of virtuous deeds, whose sin has come to an end,-they, freed from the delusion of the pairs of opposites, worship Me with firm resolve. But, on the other hand, those men of virtuous deeds, which bring about the purification of the mind (sattva-śuddhi), whose sin has almost come to an end,-they freed from the delusion of the pairs of opposites, spoken of above, worship Me, the Supreme Self, with firm resolve. They are said to be of firm resolve, because they have resolutely discarded everything (else) and have the settled understanding that 'the Supreme Reality is thus only, and not otherwise'. What for do they worship Thee? The reply follows: |
