CHAPTER -3
23. Were i not at all to engage in action with vigilance,O Pārtha, men would follow in my wake everywhere. Were I not at all, at any time, to engage in action with vigilancewithout becoming indolent, O Pārtha, men would follow in my wake,in the course of conduct adopted by Me, the pre-eminent amongthem, everywhere, in every way, in all matters. What harm is there in that? The Lord says:
24. These worlds would be undone were Ī not to engage in action; and I would be the cause of the admixture of castes and would ruin these beings. |
