Thy fierce rays are burning, O Visnu! (Thou) lickest up, tasteth, swallowing, taking in, all the worlds on every side, with Thy flaming mouths, filling the whole world with radiance. Moreover, Thy fierce rays, brilliant beams of heat and light, are burning, causing distress, 0 Visnu, the All-pervading One!
