Yoga-yukto vi&uddhulma vijitatma jitendriyah
Sarva-bhutātnm-bhūtātma kurvannapi na lipyate

7. With mind purified by devotion to performance of action, body conquered, and senses subdued, he, who has become the Self in all beings, though acting, is not tainted. Willi mind purified (=viśuddha- sattva) by devotion to the performance of action, and the body (ātmājdeha) conquered, and senses subdued[1], he, who, i.e. whose Inner Consciousness, has become the SelfW all beings, from Brahmā down to the blade of grass;-that is to say, the man of True Knowledge (perfect vision); who stays in such a state-though acting, being engaged in action for the guidance of the world (for the welfare of mankind) is not tainted, is not bound by actions.

And, in truth, such a person does nothing. Wherefore-
