Sarvānīndriya-karmāni prāna karmāni cāpare
Ātma-sarhyama-yogāgnau juhvati jñāna-dipite

27. Others again offer all the actions of the senses and the functions of Prāna (the vital energy) as sacrifice in the yoga-fire of control in Self, kindled by Knowledge. Others again offer all the actions of the senses and the functions of prānaithe vital energy)-Prāna is the vital air in the body, and its functions are contraction, expansion, etc.

as sacrifice in the yoga-fire of control in Self: concentration of the mind in the Self[1] is itself "yogāgni", the fire of yoga-kindled by knowledge: as a lamp is kindled by oil, this yoga-fire is made brilliant by discrimi­ native knowledge; and in it they completely dissolve (the actions of the senses and of prāna).
