Commentary

“O Rädhä, hold your round water pot-like breasts on my chest as if you are placing pitchers upon a sacrificial altar (maìgala-vedé) and remove the heat of my passion. Heat is vanquished by the proximity of a water pot. Every pore of the skin on your water pot-like breasts is thrilling with horripilation. Your breasts are extremely difficult to attain without your favour. Now they are ready and intent on the embrace of your sweetheart. Therefore, place them on my heart and drive away the burning of my käma.”
