Which are your divine glories, O Lord?

I am the Self seated in the hearts of all beings. I am the beginning, the middle and also the end of all beings. I am Visnu (Vamana) among the twelve sons of Aditi and the bright-rayed Sun among the luminaries; I am Marici glory among the Maruts (wind-gods) and the Moon among stars. Among the Vedas I am the Samaveda; among the gods, I am Indra; among the senses, I am the mind and I am consciousness among living beings. Among the eleven Rudras (gods of destruction), I am Sankara; among the Yaksas (Genies) and Raksasas (Demons), I am Kubera (the god of riches). Among the eight Vasus I am Pavaka (the god of fire) and among mountains I am Meru. Among priests, know Me to be their chief, Brhaspati. Among generals I am Skanda; and of seats of water, I am the ocean. Among the great seers I am Bhrgu: among the words I am mono syllable 'Om' among Yajnas (sacrifices) I am `Japa'-Yajna (chanting the name of the Lord) and among the immovable I am the Himalaya. Among all trees I am Asvattha (the holy Pipala tree); among the celestial sages, Nãrada; among the Gandharvas (celestial songsters), Citraratha; among the Siddhas (the perfected souls), the Sage Kapila. Among horses know me to be Uccaihsravã begotten of the churning of the ocean alongwith nectar: among lordly elephants, Airãvata (Indra's elephant); and among men, the king.(20—27)

Among weapons I an) the thunderbolt; among cows I am the celestial cow Kamadhenu; I am Kandarpa (Kãmadeva) among progenitors; and among serpents, I am Vasuki; Among Nagas (a special class of serpents), I am Ananta; among water deities I am Varuna; among the manes I am Aryamã; and among rulers, I am Yama (the god of death). Among the demons, I am Prahlada; among reckoners I am Time; among beasts, I am the lion; and among birds, Garuda (the Vehicle of Visnu). Among purifiers, I am the wind; among wielders of weapons, I am Rama; among fishes I am the crocodile; and among rivers I am the Ganges.(28—31)
