But what about those who, having no desire, worship You with undivided devotion? To these devotees, who worship Me alone constantly, thinking of no one else, I supply what is not already possessed and preserve what is already possessed.(22) If anyone endowed with faith, worship other gods, is that also Your worship? Even those devotees, who endowed with faith worship other gods, too worship Me alone (because I am all being and non-being); but their worship is not in accordance with rules.(23) When they too worship You alone, why is their worship not in accordance with rules? I am the enjoyer and the Lord of all the sacrifices, gifts, penances and actions. But they don't know Me in reality, hence they fall.(24) What is their fall? Those who worship the gods, go to the gods; those who worship the manes, reach the manes; those who adore the spirits, reach the spirits and those who worship Me, attain Me alone. So My worshippers don't fall. (They are not subject to birth and death).(25) |
