suvarna-bhara-shatakam
rajatam yac-catur-gunam
tat-phalam samavapnoti
tulasi-vana-palanat[1]


By protecting a Tulasi forest one attains the result of giving in pious charity a hundred bharas of gold or four hundred bharas of silver.
