shrutva vamshi-ravam gopyah
sambhramac chighram utthitah
payamsi payayam asur
lalayitva sutan prithak[1]

Hearing the sound of the flute, the gopis fainted and then suddenly stood up. As milk flowed from them, each embraced her son.
