nityasamnyasi: one who has ever the spirit of renunciation. The true worker (karmayogin) is also the true renouncer (nityam sathnyasin), for he does his work in a detached spirit[1]

4. sarnkhyayogau prthag balah
pravadanti na pane tah

(5) The status which is obtained by men of renunciation is reached by men of action also. He who sees that the ways of renunciation and of action are one, he sees (truly)
5(b) appears elsewhere in the MB, .Santiparva, 305, 19, 316, 4.[2] The true renouncer is not he who remains completely inactive but he whose work is done in a spirit of detachment. Renunciation is a mental attitude, the casting-off of desire in work ; true work is work with all desire renounced. There is not any opposition between the two, Cp. "When actions are performed by the wise man or the fool, the body (that is the external act) is the same but the inward understanding is different.[3] M.B says that the Bhagavata religion is equal in merit to the Samkhya religion.
