When do you incarnate?

I incarnate whenever there is decline of righteousness and rise of unrighteousness.(7)

Why do you incarnate?

For the protection of the virtuous, for the destruction of evil-doers and for establishing righteousness, I incarnate age after age.(8)

Is there no bondage for You in taking births (incarnation) again and again?

No, Arjuna, my births and activities are divine. I manifest Myself for the welfare of the world without having any selfish motive. Those who know this fact in reality are not reborn after death but attain Mc.9

Is there any proof that such people attain You?

Yes. Completely rid of passion, fear and anger, wholly absorbed only in Me, depending on Me alone purified by the knowledge of the divinity of my activities many have become one with Me.(10)

How do they depend on You?

0 Partha (Son of Prtha, Kuntfl), in whatever way they approach Me, even so do I seek them. So people get prepared for the welfare of the world by renouncing selfishness and pride.(11)

Then why do people, instead of worshipping You, worship the gods?

They attach importance to the worldly things and seek the fruit of their activities. So they worship the gods; for success born of actions. follows quickly.(12)
