What will happen if one does not depend on you?

What will be the result of attachment?

From attachment will spring forth desire.

What will be the result of desire?

From unfulfilled desire, anger will sprout forth.(62)

What will be the result of anger?

From anger, infatuation (delusion) will arise.

What will be the result of infatuation?

From infatuation there will be confusion of memory. The striver will forget the thoughts and activities of a striver.

What will be the result of confusion of memory?

From confusion of memory there will be the ruin of reason. The person will lose his discrimination.

What will be the result of the ruin of reason?

From ruin of reason one will go to complete ruin.(63)

You have told how the man of stable mind sits. Now tell me how he walks?

O brother, his walk instead of being an activitiy, is in the form of an emotion.

The Self-controlled striver free from attraction (likes) and aversion (dislikes), moving among objects with the senses under control, attains placidity of mind.(64)
