What are the duties of a Ksatriya? 1. Heroism 2. Vigour 3. Firmness 4. Resourcefulness 5. Not fleeing from battle 6. Generosity (charity) 7. Rulership—these are the Ksatriya's duty, born of his own nature.(43) What are the duties of Vaisyas? 1. Agriculture 2. Rearing of cows 3. Trade—these are the natural duties of Vaisyas. What are the duties of a Sudra? Service of all the three castes is the duty of a Sudra, born of his own nature.(44) |
