What is Rajasika reason?

The reason by which one does not understand correctly what is right and what is wrong, or what ought to be done and what ought not to be done, is Rajasika.(31)

What is Tamasika reason?

O Son of Kunti, the reason which, enveloped in ignorance, thinks the wrong (unrighteous) to be right (righteous) and regards all things contrary is Tamasika.(32)

O Lord, which is Sattvika firmness?

O Partha, unswerving firmness by which through the Yoga (equanimity) one controls the activities of the mind, life-breaths and senses, is Sattvika.(33)

Which is Rajasika firmness?

The firmness, by which one holds fast to Dharma (Virtue), Atha (Prosperity) and Kama (Desire), desirous of the fruit of each from attachment, is Rajasika.(34)
