O Lord, who does not deserve Your devotion? One who possesses demoniac traits.[1] What are the marks of the person who possesses demoniac traits? They are the following-- 1. Hypocrisy 2. Arrogance 3. Pride 4. Anger 5. Harshness in thought, word and deed 6. Ignorance (Non discrimination) O Son of Kunti, one who possesses these traits does not deserve My devotion.(4) |

- ↑ The term 'Asu' stands for life-breath. One who wants to delight in breath (life) and wants to maintain it, is called 'Asurt'. Demons are those who by identifying themselves with bodies have a desire to live forever and enjoy pleasures. The traits which belong to demons are called demoniac traits.
