O Lord, who deserves this most secret teaching?

One who possesses divine traits[1].

What are the marks of the person who possesses divine traits?

Sri Bhagavan said—They are the following--

1. Fearlessness by depending on Me

2. Firm resolve of mind to attain Me

3. Equanimity in all circumstances in order to know Me in reality

4. Sattvika form of charity

5. Control of the senses

6. Doing one's duty

7. To translate the principles of the sacred books into practice

8. Bearing of hardships for the sake of one's duty
