Rädhä was severely oppressed by the arrows of Cupid and sorely disappointed to be deprived of the rapture of union with Kṛṣṇa. She was separated from Kṛṣṇa only as a consequence of her quarrelsome nature (kalahäntaritä näyikä). As she anxiously remembered Çré Hari’s romantic activities, her companion spoke to her in a secluded place.
