pucche grihitva tam krishnas
cakarshashu dhanu-shatam
krishna-hastad vinishkramya
sarpas tam vyadashat punah[1]

Then Krishna grabbed the snake's tail and suddenly threw it two hundred yards away. As it was being thrown by Krishna's hand, the snake bit the Lord again.
