uccacala jalam dushöam
krishna-sanghata-ghurnitam
tat-sarpa-mandire nadyam
bhringi-bhutam babhuva ha[1]


As Krishna thrashed about, the poisoned water rose in great waves. Krishna was like a wasp that had entered the snake's river-palace.
