bahubhyam kampayams talan
phala-sangham nipatayan
garjamsh ca nirbhayam sakshad
ananto 'nanta-vikramah[1]

Roaring fearlessly, Balarama, who was Lord Ananta Himself, and whose strength had no limit, with both arms shook the tala trees and made many fruits fall.
