shanaish calan manasa-raja-hamsa-
grivakritau kandhara ucca-deshe
kadambini-mana-harau karau ca
bhajami nityam hari-kaka-pakshau[1]


On the slowly-moving swan of Lord Hari's neck again and again I worship two black crow-feathers, which remove the pride of the black monsoon clouds.
