CHAPTER 15

The Yog of The Supreme Being

यदादित्यगतं तेजो जगद्भासयतेऽखिलम्।
यच्चन्द्रमसि यच्चाग्नौ तत्तेजो विद्धि मामकम् ॥12॥

[ “Know that the radiance of the sun that lights up the world, and of the moon and fire, is my own effulgence.” ]

Next he points out the sage’s task:

गामाविश्य च भूतानि धारयाम्यहमोजसा।
पुष्णामि चौषधी: सर्वा: सोमो भूत्वा रसात्मक: ॥13॥

[ “Permeating the earth, I support all beings with my radical energy and like the ambrosial moon, I provide the sap that nourishes all plants.’’ ]
