CHAPTER 10 An Account of God’s Glory पुरोधसां च मुख्यं मां विद्धि पार्थ बृहस्पतिम्। सेनानीनामहं स्कन्द: सरसामस्मि सागर: ॥24॥ [ “Be it known to you, Parth, that I am among priests the Chief Priest Brihaspati, Skand among martial chiefs, and the ocean among seas.’’ ] Among priests, who keep watch over the intellect that is like a gateway to the human body, Krishn is Brihaspati, the divine teacher of gods themselves, and so it is he who generates the treasure of divinity. Among martial commanders he is Kartikeya, renunciation of action by which the destruction of animate and inanimate worlds, total dissolution, and the final attainment of God are effected.
