(WAY OF RENUNCIATION OF ACTION IN KNOWLEDGE)

Therein is comprehended the Vedicteaching concerning activity and retirement; and it is this very same (Jñāna-Yoga) which is intended by the Lord as (THE) Yoga throughout the Qltās. Therefore, holding that the purportof the Veda has been completely taught, the Lord glorifies it bynarrating the tradition.
