skandhayoh kakshayor dhritva
sa-nidan ratna-kambalan
kamshcid balad bhramayitva
cikshepa gagane bali[1]

Grabbing them at the root of their forelegs, powerful Kamsa picked up many jewel-saddled elephants, whirled them around, and threw them into the sky.
