kupitas teshu balavan
vindhya-deshadhipo bali
akshauhinibhyam tan sarvan
pulindan sa rurodha ha[1]

Very angry, the powerful king of Vindhya-desha took two akshauhini divisions of soldiers, and confronted all the Pulindas.
