CHAPTER 18
The Yog of Renunciation
यदग्रे चानुबन्धे च सुखं मोहनमात्मन: । [ “That happiness which both initially and finally beguile the Self, and which arises from slumber, lethargy, and negligence, is said to be of the nature of ignorance.’’ ] The happiness which both in the course of indulgence and subsequently, deludes the Soul, lays one unconscious in the dark night of worldly life, and which is born out of indolence and futile efforts, is of the nature of ignorance. Krishn then proceeds to recount the scope of the properties of nature that ever pursue us. |
