Urging The Enemy’s Destruction
इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिरस्याधिष्ठानमुच्यते। [ “Since the senses, mind, and intellect are the seats of desire, it is through them that it deludes a being by clouding-his faculty of discrimination.” ] So we have the answer. Our worst foe dwells within our own senses, mind, and intellect. It is through them that desire envelops knowledge and deludes the embodied Soul. तस्मात्त्वमिन्द्रियाण्यादौ नियम्य भरतर्षभ। [ “So, O the best of Bharat (Arjun), first subdue the senses and kill determinedly this desire, the heinous destroyer of both spiritual and physical knowledge.’’ ] |
