śreyān dravyamayād yajñāj-jñāna yājñāḥ paraṅtapa | CommentaryKarma Yoga has two aspects— awareness/wisdom and material accessories. Of these two, the component of awareness/wisdom is superior to the physical component. Wisdom is the culmination of all ritual and of all its accessories and other things that are helpful to it. Thus wisdom alone, which is the ultimate goal is practically applied in Karma Yoga. And this wisdom being regularly practiced, contributes ultimately to Selfrealisation. |
