sarvāṇ-īndriyāṇi prāṇa karmāṇi cāpare |
ātma-saṃyama yogāgnau juhvati jñāna-dīpite || 27 ||

27. Some again offer as oblation the functions of the senses and the activity of the vital energy
(prāṇa) into the fire of the Yoga of restraint of the mind kindled by knowledge.

Commentary

The meaning is that some Yogins endeavour to prevent the mind from becoming attached to the functions of the senses and vital-breaths. By contemplating on the Self, they sublimate these energies and overcome even the subtle residual craving for them.
