Chapter XVIII

O Lord, if a person is unable to render such a service, what should he do?

He should study this sacred dialogue of ours. By him I shall be worshipped by the sacrifice of wisdom; such is my conviction.(70)

Lord, what course should a man adopt if he is unable even to study the sacred dialogue?

The man who listens to this sacred dialogue of ours full of faith and an uncarping spirit, shall gain the higher worlds of the Virtuous.(71)

Partha, now I want to ask you whether you have heard this message with an attentive mind and whether your delusion, born of ignorance, has been destroyed.(72)

Arjuna said—O Acyuta (one who doesn't deviate from His divine nature), my delusion is destroyed and I have regained memory (knowledge) by your grace, not by my efforts of listening to the message. I stand free from doubts and I shall obey You.(73)
