Gita Govinda -Shri Jayadeva Gosvami
Act Two : akleça kecavaù
Carefree Krishna
Scene Six
Song 6
Verse 21
The gopés’ smiles conveyed their intentions so clearly that even a naive person would be attracted. Their braids loosened as the pores of their skin thrilled with intense käma. Kṛṣṇa gazed at their breasts as they showed them off by raising their arms. Yet such gestures were to no avail. Kṛṣṇa reflected deeply for a long time, gradually destroying his last aspirations for the company of the gopés. Now he is exhilarated exclusively by Rädhä’s emotions and his astonishment increases at every new moment. May that youthful Keçava destroy the sufferings of you all. |
